The application deadline is March 1st
Counselors assist each counselor in leading a group of 16 children of
the same sex and age. These 16 campers remain together for the full
session and you will be "their JC". This continuity allows you to learn
and address the strengths and weaknesses of each child and helps build
those strong social bonds that will make camp so memorable for your

Session One: June 15 - July 10 (4 weeks)
Session Two: July 13 - July 31 (3 weeks)
JCs may work only one session. Please note your preference on the application.
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
salary will be disclosed at the time of your offer of employment. Our
weekly salaries typically range from $400-500 per week based on tenure,
years of employment, etc.
Must have completed sophomore year in high school (*Exception: A former camper who was also a JCIT may apply after completing his/her freshman year.). Should be extremely responsible, athletic, be passionate
and knowledgeable about sports, be a very good student, play on at
least one school or club team, and love to work and play with children
experience necessary, but experience coaching/assisting with a youth
sports team, after school sports program, or at any summer camp is a
extra jobs (Beach BBQ, Extended Care, set-up, end-of-session cleanup,
etc.) are offered over the course of the summer which provide an
opportunity for junior counselors to earn additional income.
If hired you will be required to attend our weekend orientation:
BRAND NEW JUNIOR COUNSELOR TRAINING Saturday June 13 for 3-4 hours (time to be determined)
ALL STAFF ORIENTATION Sunday June 14 for 3-4 hours
(time to be determined)
will contact promising applicants to arrange for a 10-20 minute
